An easy-medium trail of less than 7 km, sharing parts of the route with Monte Acuto trail 261 and the Cammino dei Cappuccini. A single climb leads to a beautiful panoramic spot where the Genga Rossa spur rises. Continuing, you reach the road that climbs to the Madonna dell'Acquanera hermitage and descend through the small villages of Ca' d'Eusepio and Caeggiole. The trail is always comfortable, scenic, and presents no difficulty in navigating.
A short but enjoyable route that circumnavigates Mount Spicchio, near Frontone, and winds through the two valleys of the Cinisco and Mandrale Rivers, crossing the latter twice. The almost alpine vegetation is remarkable, characterized by reforestation of black pine in the second section of the route.

A route that takes just over an hour, but shouldn't be underestimated due to the very steep initial climb. It runs alongside the Cinisco Valley and has Monte Acuto as a reference point ahead. The descent is easy and entirely through the woods. If you're short on time and are near Frontone, this is definitely a recommended route, with beautiful views of the Cinisco Valley and Monte Acuto.

A challenging route, both in length and elevation gain, but very interesting and scenic. From Petrara, it reaches the La Cingualdese refuge and returns, taking the dirt road of Monte Roma. Once at the top, the view is dominated by the peaks of Monte Catria and Monte Acuto, with the steep, jagged rock faces of Corno del Catria and Balze della Porta. A section on the trail requires some attention to orientation, but the GPS track is a reliable reference.

A short and easy hike, consisting of just one climb and one descent. The initial stretch follows a dirt road along the Palombara Valley, then descends along Via Cupa, a pleasant dirt road with beautiful views of the jagged rocky slopes of Monte Roma. It skirts the hills of Poggio Pantano and Poggio Pantanello and passes through Petrara and Pianello, two hamlets of Serra Sant'Abbondio. It's said to be frequented by wolves, but I only encountered a small group of friendly roe deer.

A beautiful trail that follows mostly grassy dirt roads flanked by woods between Frontone and Serra Sant'Abbondio. It skirts the hills of Poggio Pantano, Poggio Pantanello, and Monte Tordo, bringing you close to the Fonte della Cingualdese. As you walk, you pass through the three small villages of Pianello, Piccione, and Colombara. Always very scenic, it offers beautiful views of the Palombara Valley and the hills of Monte Roma, Cimate di Rave, and Monte Catria. A very pleasant walk, not demanding, and with no difficulty finding your way.

This walk is long, but not demanding, with only a few moderate climbs. It develops in a little-known and little-frequented area, full of small villages and isolated houses. Montevecchio and Montajate are the two main points of interest, which will not disappoint you. But what excites are the views that open in every direction, including, above all, those that show the long ridge that from Monte Nerone, passing through Monte Petrano and Monte Catria, reaches up to Monte della Strega.

A long and challenging route that crosses all the main reliefs of the Catria massif. The variety of environments is extraordinary: meadows, beech forests, gorges and impervious rock faces. The final stretch leads to the Fonte Avellana monastery, the most important place of worship in the entire Pesaro hinterland and beyond. You can start from Acquaviva or Frontone, but Cagli is also a convenient base. The itinerary does not present any technical difficulties and can be easily covered even with a gravel bike.
